This week as probably been the most frustrating and slowest week since the opening day of the season. Both for myself and fellow pike anglers.!! Literally thrown everything at them and using a variety of methods and baits to tempt the pike, but to no avail. With pike clearly on the move and feeding on everything but dead baits times have been very hard down on the lake all week. With very little interest at all. I did manage 2 runs through the week, but resulting in losing both fish. Another angler lost what looked a hefty fish in midweek up towards the pads area. Rob Hall managed the 1 fish at the weekend which Is the only fish to grace the bank all week, so well done to him. Hopefully with colder temperatures on the horizon things will pick up.
