In the early hours of Tuesday morning, The lake produced one of its finest and oldest fish, in the form of the Mirror dubbed as "The Brute".
James had arrived at the lake late for a quick overnighter under the stars, when not long after getting his head down, his alarm lit up the bank with a positive run. After a slight battle, the fish was plodding about in the margins until eventually gracing James's net. The fish tipped the scales to 22lb 4oz, making it the biggest The Brute has ever been caught at on record.
Well done Mr Hanley, it's always special to see one of the originals on the bank!
